A few weeks ago, I joined Dave Sweeton at the Tameside Reporter HQ to record an episode of his Business Podcast and it has now gone live. We covered a lot of ground, from the importance of securing strong international trade deals to the urgent need to safeguard British steel, the conversation explored how these issues connect to the Government’s wider Industrial Strategy.

We also discussed my new role as Chief Whip and what that means for delivering on our commitments. One thing I’m passionate about is ensuring that areas like Tameside are front and centre in the opportunities this strategy creates.
