Jonathan Reynolds MP Proudly serving the communities of Stalybridge, Hyde, Mossley, Longdendale and Dukinfield
Patients in our constituency are now getting quicker access to care, with over 5 million additional appointments made possible across England since Labour formed the government.
This is a huge step forward, after years of decline under the Conservatives, Labour is finally fixing our treasured NHS. We’re investing in more community care, strengthening collaboration between GPs and clinicians, and putting record funding into the health service.
To deliver this community care, health hubs form a core part of Labour’s Ten Year Health Plan, shifting care closer to home. We inherited an NHS where some patients waited up to 18 months for treatment. Labour is working to cut the longest waits to 18 weeks by the end of this Parliament.
Locally, we’ve been leading the way as I have seen on constituency visits in recent times to Healthy Hyde and the Stalybridge Healthcare Hub. In Hyde, Healthy Hyde has created a modern health hub, offering extended access appointments, mental health support, and even a community kitchen. In Stalybridge, the healthcare hub is providing vital services for patients of Stalybridge, Dukinfield and Mossley GPs.
This is real change and it is happening here and it’s happening because of Labour.
