It was brilliant to attend the open day at Stalybridge Fire Station alongside our excellent Mayor Tafheen Sharif earlier this month. Hundreds of families turned out to enjoy the rides, games, treats and to learn about our emergency services. The kids’ firefighter experience was particularly very popular. A big thank you to all our firefighters for opening their doors and giving the community such a warm welcome.
