It was wonderful to visit the new Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit at Tameside General Hospital, after seeing the plans back in 2018. Most people will never need to use, or visit, a unit like this, but it’s reassuring to know such an impressive and state-of-the-art facility is available in the local area. So much thought and effort has gone into the design and it has a really nice feel to it. It’s great to see continued improvement to the local healthcare offer.
