I was very pleased to learn the old police station in Stalybridge will finally be turned into much needed brownfield housing. I have been in regularly touch for the owner for years; frankly the state of the site drives me mad. Well done to the councillors for this achievement, which is great news for neighbouring businesses, town centre footfall and all who take pride in striving towards a smart and prosperous Stalybridge.
