People contact me about a range of issues - whether they need help dealing with a Government agency, or just want to know where I stand on a particular issue - and I receive hundreds of emails from constituents every month. If you wish to write to me then you can do so via email, at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by post at Hyde Town Hall, Market Street, Hyde, SK14 1AL.
Everyone who contacts me will receive a response, but due to the large number of communications I receive, this can take up to two weeks.
Due to parliamentary protocol, I am unable to deal with enquiries from out of the constituency. If you are not sure if you are a constituent, please enter your postcode into this website here: http://www.theyworkforyou.com/mp/
Emails are treated in the same manner and with the same level of importance as other communications such as post and telephone. Nevertheless, given the high volume of correspondence I receive each day, there may be a delay in responding to your request.
If your enquiry relates to casework, please allow up to 10 working days for your initial enquiry to be actioned.
If your enquiry relates to an issue of policy, I will generally respond to all enquiries by letter. If you have not received a reply within 15 working days, please contact my office.
If your enquiry relates to an issue as part of my shadow ministerial brief, please allow up to 15 working days for a response.
Please ensure that you have included:
· your full name
· your full postal address
· your contact telephone number
· any relevant reference numbers such as National Insurance number.
If you have not included the above details in your initial email, there may be a delay in the time taken to respond to your enquiry.
